Double Patchouli - Phaedon Paris
Eau de Toilette
Between Bali and Florès, on the fertile lands of Indonesia, two terroirs producing two essences of patchouli assembled like grape varieties to make their difference resonate.
Between innate woody warmth, herbaceous facets and subtle notes of cocoa, characteristic of patchouli, the perfumer has slipped a few pieces of amber and infused the whole with musk. Dual material, both synonymous with the Orient and olfactory emblem of the Hippie movement of the 60s, patchouli remains a charismatic fragrance with a sensual aura, which never ceases to inspire creators.
Notes: Patchouli, Amber, Musk
Note de voyage : Patchouli, a scent of the 70's
Because it brings a suave, woody or smoky note to accords, Patchouli was used by perfumers very early on. In the middle of the 19th century, with the enthusiasm of French women for the Orient, this scent came back into fashion. Patchouli is then so widespread that it becomes the olfactory signature of the demi-mondaine. Evocative of India and the East, it is appropriated by the hippie movement in the 70s. Its warm, exotic and mysterious scent evoking escape, travel thus becomes a perfect symbol of liberation and eroticism.
