27 Limanakia - Pierre Guillaume Paris
Eau de parfum
Floral
Named after the popular beach near Athens, whose shores are full of small, hidden coves (Limanakia means "little ports" in Greek), the fragrance literally sings of the Aegean Sea.
Infused with mineral, woody green scents, Limanakia is a picture of the Mediterranean coast: warm water washing over rocks, strands of hair played with by the wind bringing fragrances of cypress and wild cistus.
It opens with the green of a laurel leaf crushed in the fingers and pine mint, through which you can feel the mineral note – the scent of sun-heated cistus bushes and granite.
There's a note of cistus, or labdanum, which takes on the unexpected warmth like drying in the sun after a swim. A surprising reminder of the carefree days of the Greek shorecoast, filled with joy and happiness.
Notes: Artemisia, Caraway, Flint, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Tiare, Immortelle, Patchouli, Woody notes, Kashmiri wood and Labdanum.
